Evaluation of Physiochemical Properties, Thermal Behavior and Phytopharmaceutical Potential of Citrus aurantium’s Essential Oil

The study investigates the therapeutic potential of Citrus aurantium var. amara essential oil extracted from blossoms bitter orange plant by examining its chemical composition, thermal stability, and potency against infectious disease-causing pathogens. Initially, volatile components were evaluated obtaining a chromatographic fingerprint using HPTLC FTIR spectrum identification. Furthermore, profile was obtained thermogravimetric-differential analysis differential scanning calorimetric analysis. A predetermined set antibiotic-resistant microorganisms used to examine antibacterial activity oil. Lastly, anti-inflammatory assessed albumin denaturation assay. research concluded that Amara exhibits characteristics which can be further explored through in vivo studies.
